These tools exist for the moment a player asks the innkeeper’s name and you have four seconds. Each page answers one question fast, then gets out of the way.

- Shareable seeds. The options and seed live in the URL, so the link you paste in your group chat shows the same names to everyone.
- Original content. Names come from hand-built sound systems for each people, not lists copied from books. Rules content comes from the free SRD and is credited on the pages that use it.

Are these DM tools free?
Yes. Every tool is free, needs no account and shows no ads. The site is made by Roll & Rewind, a small Etsy shop for nerd-culture apparel and decor.
Do the generators work for D&D 5e and the 2024 rules?
Yes. The tools are system-light and fit any fifth edition game. The point buy calculator supports both the 2024 background increases and the older species bonuses.
Can I use generated names in my own campaign or published adventure?
Yes. Names and other results are free to use in home games, streams and published work, and no credit is required.
Do the tools use AI?
No. Every result comes from deterministic code and hand-written tables, so the same seed always gives the same result.
